Potholder prototype

I love giving Christmas gifts, but sometimes giving the right gift is hard. I struggle every year to figure out what to give my husband's grandmothers. I've given gift certificates the last couple of years, but just can't stand the thought of doing the same again. So after much thought I've decided on matching potholder and placemat sets. Today I played around with what I wanted to do and came up with something I'm happy with for the potholders. This is just an example and not the fabric I will be using for them. This one is for me :)
